This Is Me

When my daughter was born I realized my point and shoot was no longer going to be the best way to capture all the moments in her life that I never wanted to forget. I dove into the world of the DLSR and started trying to learn as much as I could about how to freeze all those times I never wanted to forget in a way that would keep each moment fresh.

From there I ventured into helping out friends and family with portraits realizing it was a hobby that challenged me to research, learn and explore the art of photography. I got a disc camera when I was 8 years old, but never mustered up the courage to really pursue any kind of photography. Now I want to continue being a hobbyist photographer, preserving moments for people and having fun while shooting.
